My wife and I hiked Volga Nature Trail today and I must say it was a beautiful hike!!!! We started across from the Sulphur Springs entrance with a wonderful trail guide named Danny. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, and a native of the trail which means his family owns the land on which the trail resides. During the hike, he informed us about the history of St. Lucia, and the rich history of the land, and how his family has had generation after generation. During the hike, we got to see old dwellings, beautiful scenery, and the most spectacular view of all the Piton mountains with sugar beach laying in between them at the base. The hike was breathtaking and only lasted an hour and a half, which gave us plenty of time to relax at sugar beach afterwards.
